6 months course in Algarve and Andaluzia with a total of 660 hours <\/strong>+ residences, rehearsals, public presentations + possibility of professional internship<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Where: <\/strong>CAPa, Performing Arts Center of\u00a0 Algarve (Faro\/ Algarve, Portugal)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When: <\/strong>26th January to 24th July 2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deadline for applications:<\/strong> 10th November 2025<\/p>\n\n\n\n

* Over the course of 6 months, participants will engage in direct contact with more than 34 professionals from the Performing Arts sector;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

* Among them, 18 renowned national and international performers and creators from the fields of Theatre and Dance will take part;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

* Each invited artist will share their creative processes, with a special focus on at least 2 works from their repertoire;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

* The knowledge shared will serve as a foundation for participants to develop their own artistic objects, in a space free of pressure, fostering peer-to-peer exchange and critical dialogue with the trainers;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

* As an extension of the training, participants will have free access to a regular program of performances by the invited trainers \u2014 including works explored during the course \u2014 presented across various theatres and venues in Algarve and Andalusia;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

* Each trainer will select his \u201caccomplice\u201d, resulting in a selected group of 10 distinguished thinkers and researchers, who will offer critical insights into their work, placing it in a broader theoretical and artistic context. This ensures an up-to-date theoretical foundation to complement the practical training;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

* The program also offers meetings with around 10 artistic directors \/ programmers from leading theatres and artistic institutions in Portugal and Spain, who will share their programming strategies;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

* Participants will also have the opportunity to take part in mediation activities, contributing to the growth of a spectator’s community, with space for post-perfomance conversations with the artistic teams;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

* The training program also offers the possibility of a paid professional internship lasting two months (October and November 2026). During this period, participants will have the opportunity to join a team of professionals to create a performance under the artistic direction of one of the invited trainers, with a short tour included.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Costs for participants:
registration 120 euros (non refundable);
full payment of the course 1.500 euros;
payment in three instalments 550 euros x 3;
